What we store
We use browser storage sparingly. Nothing we store contains a health value you have entered into a calculator.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| gravis.consent.v1 | Local storage | Remembers your cookie choices so you are not asked again | Until you clear it |
| gravis.explorer.v1 | Local storage | Health Explorer progress — which tools and guides you have explored | Until you clear it |
| Advertising cookies | Third-party cookies | Set by the advertising network, only where you have agreed | Set by the provider |
| Analytics | First-party | Counts page views and action types, only where you have agreed | Set by the provider |
Strictly necessary storage
Your cookie choice itself is stored so that we do not ask you the same question on every page. This cannot be declined, because declining it would mean being asked repeatedly.
Optional storage
Analytics and advertising are both optional and both default to off. Nothing optional is loaded until you have agreed to it, and declining is one click — exactly as easy as accepting.
What is never stored
The values you type into a calculator are held in your browser’s memory for as long as the page is open and then discarded. They are not written to any cookie or storage, not sent anywhere, and not recoverable after you leave the page.
Changing your choices
You can review or change your choices at any time on the privacy settings page. You can also clear site data through your browser’s own settings, which removes everything listed above.
