Who operates this site

Gravis Labs is a service operated by Aryabyt Private Limited, which is the legal entity responsible for this site. “Gravis Labs”, “we” and “us” in these terms mean Aryabyt Private Limited.

Acceptance

By using Gravis Labs you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What this service is

Gravis Labs is a health information publisher. It provides general educational information and calculation tools. It is not a healthcare provider, a clinic, a telemedicine service, a diagnostic service, a pharmacy, or an emergency service, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. See our medical disclaimer.

No regulatory approval, and no clinical authority

We want to be exact about what this service is, because the distinction matters more here than almost anywhere else on the site.

  • Gravis Labs is not a medical device. It is not registered, approved, certified or cleared by any medical regulator or health authority, in any country. It has not been submitted for such approval, and nothing on this site should be read as suggesting otherwise.
  • We hold no clinical authority. Every calculator implements a published equation and cites the body that published it. That citation is the authority — it belongs to the organization named, not to us, and reproducing an equation faithfully does not make us a clinical authority on it.
  • The content is written and edited, not clinician-reviewed. Where a page carries no named reviewer, none has reviewed it. We would rather say so than display a credential we do not have — see our editorial approach.
  • Using this site creates no professional relationship of any kind. There is no doctor–patient, clinician–patient or advisory relationship between you and us, and no duty of care arises from your reading a page or using a calculator.

Anything that matters for your health — interpreting a result, changing what you do about it, or deciding whether to seek care — needs the opinion of a qualified clinician who can examine you and see your full history. This site is a starting point for that conversation, not a replacement for it.

Use of the site

You may use this site for your own personal, non-commercial information. You may not:

  • present output from this site as medical advice to another person;
  • use it to make clinical decisions about anyone, including yourself;
  • scrape, republish or redistribute substantial portions of the content;
  • attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the site;
  • use automated means to place load on the service beyond normal reading.

Accuracy and availability

We take care to base every formula and threshold on a named authoritative source, and we cite those sources on each page. Even so, the content is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that it is complete, current at the moment you read it, or suitable for any particular purpose, and medical guidance changes over time.

We do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aryabyt Private Limited is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or anything on it. This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Your use of any result from this site is at your own discretion and risk. Decisions about your health should be made with a qualified healthcare professional.

Intellectual property

The written content, illustrations, design and code of this site belong to Aryabyt Private Limited. Cited sources belong to their respective publishers, and are linked rather than reproduced. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
